Woodsy Walk

We took a nice hike in the woods today.

There were some pretty views, and we caught a glimpse of a few natural inhabitants of the woods. I saw a cardinal, Scottius, but he didn't have a glove or a baseball bat. :)

I saw your post over at Jane's blog and just had to tell you that I love your blogging name, and wish I had thought of it :)

Glad that you got out and about. Pastor and I planted our garden today. It was nice to accomplish something like that.

wow barb, i'm amazed at how your "woods" look very like our "bush"... in NZ we say, "I went for a bush walk." lol
slightly different foliage though, and i don't think i've ever seen a cardinal, with wings or bat...

Barb!

Nice pics.

Y'all should come around here sometime. We frequently have cardinals in the bush. And they all look this this.

Wow! The only animals we've ever seen on our walks through the woods are birds and snakes. Sometimes we see deer in the open field behind our property though.

Oh, the path just looks like it has purple flowers... It's pretty even if it isn't.
