Spring Is Here

It's raining instead of snowing. :) Seriously, we went out to dinner with friends last night, and the water was deep enough on the roads on the way home that my battery light came on temporarily. The raindrops also threatened to turn to snow briefly, but it was still rain when we got home. At least we are getting more sunshine, and I'm hearing more birds. Those are good things. Also good: the girls are spending more time outside instead of inside on the computer or whatever. I'm also trying to walk every day, or at least when it's not pouring down rain.

We had some pretty big sized flurries yesterday - melted as soon as it hit the ground. Better today - blue sky, little breeze and 45 degrees. I'm not fond of rain but I'll take it over snow.

ha!!! you go girl on the walking, i have finally broken the 3 kilometre barrier on the cross trainer at Bulldog's gym today. 3km in 20 minutes. hard grunty slog but i'm feeling so fab about it.
will *not* compare it to Bulldog's efforts just yet lol

I looked at the Minneapolis forecast for the week and no snow in the 7 day! Yes! Spring has sprung, the grass is ris; I wonder where the flowers is! (Ogden Nash)

Glad you're getting out!

That's awesome about walking. I REALLY got to get with the program. I used to be an avid runner until I hurt my back badly three years ago and due to being bed-ridden for a while, got out of shape and out of the habit. I've never gotten it back. I'm hoping Spring with give me a shot in the arm.

I take that back about the snow in the Minneapolis forecast... 8 inches down town before first pitch. Grrr.

Here in Cleveland it promises to be a pretty nice Opening Day. I'll have to make sure to go for a walk before the game starts. :)
