If today wasn't a Saturday, and the weather so cold, we might consider heading to downtown Cleveland to check out the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade. As it is, there will probably be a lot more drunken idiots downtown than usual. We can just watch it on television, if we want. One of my grandparents was Irish. Woo hoo!

hubby and i went ballroom dancing last night. it was a toss up between that and hubby's fave pub where he could watch "the game" (i have no idea who was playing what..)
anyway, half way thru the evening, there was an item: irish dancing, by a 15 yr old lad who is second in NZ. he was really good.
but moi, i still prefer the waltz :o)
I think New Zealand was playing England in cricket, actually. Read that on some blog somewhere...
