Well, following a very spirited political discussion, you can still color me unimpressed. Of course, that's my opinion, but then, this is my blog. :) If I want throat-cutting, back-biting, devious, scheming sharks, I think I'll stick with Ugly Betty.
Tomorrow will be very busy, between a homeschool field trip and celebrating Wildchild's birthday. What really matters.

looking forward to seeing some birthday pix :o)
btw your *bloginality* link won't work for me....
Hi Barb,
I'd like to wish Wildchild a happy birthday too! :-)
BTW, is Ugly Betty a pretty good show? I caught an episode a while back and and thought it looked promising. (I don't watch much network TV.) Also, I remember some feminist bloggers hating on it, so I figured it must be worth checking out. They didn't like the name of the show...I suppose they would have preferred Not Conventionally Attractive Betty. :-D
Barb!
It's called Ugly Betty for a reason. Those Hollywood people know what they're doing.
Happy Birthday Wildchild!!!
Kate, I don't know what to say about the bloginality link except that maybe it was too busy when you tried it??
Ugly Betty is a pretty good show. It's based on a Spanish telenovela and is about a girl named Betty Suarez who lands a job as an assistant to an executive at a fashion mag. Despite the fact that everyone around her tries to be one of the "beautiful people," she stays unapologetically herself. Since it concerns the fashion industry, most of the characters are pretty cutthroat, gay, promiscuous or all of the above. But the show laughs at itself at the same time it sympathizes with Betty.
Scottius, you are a pretty smart chimp!
ugly betty has finally arrived in NZ. my kiddos are desperate to watch it...
oh, and i'm ENFP... or J depending on the level of estrogen that day lol
