The Sad and the Stupid

You decide which adjective fits what.

First of all, call me naive, but I don't see how images of aborted babies can be labelled "controversial." If you're going to abort your child, at least have the guts to face what you've done to the child. But then having an abortion is cowardly anyway.

On a lighter note, this criminal is not the brightest bulb in the box.

Hey, if the pro-choice-to-kill crowd wants the freedom, they should have the responsibility that goes along with it, and have to answer for their beliefs. Notice that it is only controversial if you are on the moral side of the issue.

As for the Westlake gal, she's just plain stupid. Here's her sign.

The pro-choice folks were able to change the nature of the abortion debate when they started using the term "fetus" instead of baby, "It's not a baby - it's a cluster of cells."

They are still trying to monopolize the debate by suppressing the pictures. They know the pictures show the truth and that's why the pics are so powerful. They call the pictures "controversial" in hopes people won't take them seriously.

DMG - good points. Strange, though, that these groups usually like controversy, because it intrigues people and gathers an audience for them.

I'll admit that the type of people usually in favor of abortion like controversy in some things. They're the ones who will throw animal blood, say, on someone wearing a fur coat. But they seem to like abortion to be quiet and behind the scenes. Hustle 'em in, hustle 'em out. Maybe they know the more facts people get about abortion, the more their opinions change. People still feel sorry for that poor 14-year-old girl and how her life will be ruined, etc. But they start thinking twice about the govt-subsidized abortion for all women, all the time that we currently have.

Thanks for posting at my place, Barb.

This is my reply to your post there:

Re: photos of these babies ~ I agree with you 100%. Regarding anyone who is calling this "controversial" ~ my question for them is this: Why does this bother you so much? You see photos that are this hard to look at, if not worse, on cable news! Our culture has been so desensitized to death and violence that we have lost a sense of reality and compassion. Are these photos *real*? Yes ~ they are real.

I have to believe that the real reason people don't want to see these photos is because deep in their hearts and souls, they know that this is infanticide.

When I found this little baby girl, I fell in love with the living baby that she was. She was a beautiful little creature of God's loving handiwork. And I have grieved for her most cruel loss of life, and the pain she must have suffered during her death. She was never able to feel being held in the arms of a loving mother who wanted her. Her life was too short.
