They Grow Up So Fast

How our family celebrated Buy-A-Gun Day. Wildchild told Daddy she would go shooting with him if he bought her a pink gun.

Update: Welcome, Kim du Toit readers!

I must not allow my oldest (only 5) to see this. She wants that rifle so bad and constantly reminds me so. To see another beautiful little girl with it would make my life unbearable.

Of course, according to Bloomberg, your daughter is a criminal who will use the fact that the rifle is pink to confuse cops while she's on her crime spree.

That's cute! :-) I forgot about Buy-a-Gun day. I miss target practice. :-(

Remember: buy ammo in bricks, not boxes. You WILL go through it.

When mine were little, three people shooting .22 rifles and a handgun could go through a LOT of ammo in a day.

Our record (me and my Dad) was about 800 rounds of .22 in one session. Mostly through one pistol. We had to stop when the firing pin broke. :(

Awesome! My girlfriend has one of those too! She's fairly short(5' even), so she needed the, ahem, compact size of a youth rifle.

Just wait till she sees the Hello Kitty AR or AK...those calibers cost more money! ;-)

Oh, and I have the pink glitter Hello Kitty pants to go with this!!

I am ashamed to say, I knew not of this Buy A Gun Day.

I'm not joking, I may buy this gun....

That is just great. I can't wait till my little girl is big enough for her first, she's only 3 now so it will be a little while, do they have a matching one for boys too? Twins have to get everything at the same time you know.

OMG! She's not clinging to it, is she? :)

She looks so bitter.

They make many different colors. Although, Gander Mountain only seems to stock the black and pink synthetic stocks.

I bought one for my girls a few weeks ago. My youngest had trouble using the ron sights so I ordered a scope base and mounted a Tasco 4x on it. She shoots it much better, now.

That is wonderful, she looks like on very happy camper.

Hah! It's a small world ain't it. My granddaughter just told me the same thing and I bought her the same exact gun.

I hope your girl loves her little pink Crickett as much as my granddaughter does.
