For some reason my sewing mojo left quite a while ago, and hasn't come back. I've explored a number of reasons, from perfectionism becoming paralyzing, to being distracted by all the other work I have to do. However, I *need* a new skirt for church. All I have is one summery one which I just can't wear anymore. So it's off to the
salt mines sewing room to see if I can rediscover my mojo, or at least slog through.

You go girlfriend!
I'm with you. It's been a dry sewing summer.
I've got to go thru my stash to figure out Christmas gifts to make... if I don't re-emerge from within the bins of cloth, can you send someone after me?
That's part of my problem, EC. I *have* to get through this stash. I'm tired of having all this fabric not being put to good use. But it gets overwhelming.
fave colour?
fave pattern?
go to it.
can't wait to see whatcha *whip up*!!
i am trying to find my mojo to make my first baby shoes. i wanted to make reversible ones, but the only online pattern i found is not reversible. maybe i'll follow the pattern first and then i'll faff about modifying it?
not sure. that's my level of perfectionism.

Hey Barb! Long time no "talk"! I'm back! How are you? Hey, once you get started, I bet you'll get into it again. That is exactly what happened with my jewelry making. I put it aside while Mom was sick and then passed away in February until just a few weeks ago. Now I am really getting into it again. I will pray for you.
Hey, by the way, I NEED your help. Could you mention on your blog about Hannity's America airing tomorrow night (Oct.5th) at 9:00 EST on Fox News about Obama's association with terrorists? I have a post on it. Thanks honey! Love ya!!
