It'll Be Great If I Can Get Through

So, we've found a new place to live. Great, except we can't move in until a few days before the lease on our current place expires. We really were hoping for more time, but there's not much we can do about it. I just keep reminding myself of how wonderful it will be after we move to keep myself going.

On top of this, the girls will be going to public school this year, and we're trying to finish up the paperwork/school supplies/new clothes issues. I'm finding it very stressful, not to mention how early the girls will have to get up to get to school, plus the packing lunches issue. I hope this truly is a break for me this year like Mr. BTEG wants.

I'm having health issues that need additional testing to decide how bad they are. At this point, I may be anemic, which is a wonderful state to be in when you need to pack up all your belongings and move. I'm not exactly worried about the health issues because they aren't deadly, but the additional distraction and possible fatigue are unnecessary!

I'd like to think I can keep blogging through all this but I probably won't. Hopefully if I don't blog soon I will be able to come back when things calm down to let you know I've survived!

Let me know if you need any extra help moving.

Congratulations on your new home! We had a similar situation the last time we leased a home. The closing date and moving date ended up on the same day. It was a lot on work, but was our best move to date. I'll be praying that the health issues are resolved soon.

barb,
i have had such a different headspace this year - i think life gets unbelievably intense with homeskooling. well, mine did. our family vibe hasn't changed much - for which i am so thankful, although i could give homework a huge miss. i hate homework. i love the reading books part, just hate the mindless memorisation of spelling words part.

of course, uni has filled up my head (you know my love/hate with that) and i am waiting for the perfect job to float down out of the sky if there is one to be had. not sure about the job/momma juggle at all.

about skool lunches: our kiddos make their own. selections of: sandwiches, yoghurt, fruit, treat like a muesli bar etc, toasted almonds or cheese-and-crackers.

no stress for mom + lovely choices for kiddos = win win.

wishing you all the best for your move and change of scenery for all. big loves X

Hi Barb,

I just wanted to see how you're doing. I hope everything is okay. I know moving is so exhausting. I started up a new blog that's going to be a quite different from the old one. However, I could not come up with a better name that Lilac Rose v2.0.
